I am Victoria Rivera, I am Salvadoran, and I live in Arkansas. I am a mother of 3 amazing children and a wife. However, I wasn’t fulfilling my role of a good wife. I constantly fought with my husband because I rejected him. He even thought it was because I had a lover, but the truth was that I was ashamed of my obesity. The 208 pounds I had made me feel very insecure, but I never accepted it in front of him. My love for pupusas, tacos, and sweet bread were putting my marriage and my life at risk because I also wasn’t giving my 100% as a mother. I never had the energy to play with my children. I felt tired and had migraines every day that were increasingly unbearable. Until I said, no more! I couldn’t allow my bad nutrition destroy my life and I decided to recover my energy, health, and marriage. Thanks to my hero Alejandro Chabán and Yes You Can!, I managed to regain my life and leave behind my obesity. I've lost 83 pounds! I feel like the most confident woman in the world, happy to show myself in an extra small dress and uncover my beauty. Thanks to Yes You Can!.
