Couldn’t fit into a size 3X

My name is Edith Reyes, I am from Mexico and I live in California. Since I was a little girl, I've been a chubby girl. In all the stages of my life, I’ve been bullied and was sad because I didn’t felt like I fit in. I reached the point of weighing 272 pounds and felt that I wasn’t worth anything. However, I kept eating pizza, French fries, lots of sweets and flours until I couldn’t even fit in a size 3X. I couldn’t wear anything and I didn’t want to go anywhere, so I became very depressed. My whole life was crumbling down, my relationship with my children, with my partner, and my health. Until one day, the doctor told me that I had many illnesses for being overweight. At that moment I said, “No more! I have to leave the chubby girl behind and learn to love myself!” I found the Yes You Can family, I lost 117 pounds and from a 3X size, I am now a medium. Today, I am someone else, I left behind all the bullying, and every day I love myself more and I teach my children that they deserve all the love possible.
