Had a painful childhood

My name is Ana Melara I am 29 years old, I am Salvadorian and I live in New York. I was born in the US but my parents could not take care of me and they sent me to live with my grandmother in El Salvador. Unfortunately, my childhood was not a fairytale. My mother remarried and we began to live with my stepfather who mistreated us. It was a terrible situation that scarred me and drove me to eat all the time in my teenage years. At an early age, I was already suffering from obesity. I weighed 266 pounds the day of my prom and unfortunately I did not want attend because I was fat. No dress was able to hide my fat rolls and the thought of showing my body at such an event made me panic. All my classmates told me that I was fat, but it was not until having my daughter that I became aware of my problem. I felt like a 60 year old woman and I was only 18. My husband told me one day,“I was watching a show where overweight people told their stories of how they lost weight and now they live a healthier life, you should it try Ana!” That's when I called my best friends, my Yes You Can! Coaches. Since day one they have been with me, in my process recommending what suits me best according to my lifestyle. To this day I have lost 83 pounds with my Transformation Kit, I feel young and fulfilled. The most wonderful thing is that I can share clothes with my daughter because we are the same size!
