Peruvian Ceviche

  • 1/2 lbs Tilapia fillets cubed
  • 2 Garlic cloves, chopped
  • 1/4 tsp Low sodium salt
  • 1/4 tsp Black pepper
  • 1/2 tsp Fresh cilantro, chopped
  • 1/2 Habanero pepper, seeded and chopped
  • 4 Limes, freshly squeezed and strained to remove pulp, enough to cover fish
  • 1/4 Red onion, thinly sliced and rinsed


  1. Combine all ingredients in a big bowl except red onion and mix well.
  2. Place red onion on top and let it marinate in the refrigerator for at least 2-3 hours before serving.
  3. Before serving, mix well and serve with lettuce and corn.
